The Embassy

The Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Berlin is the official diplomatic representation of the Kenyan Government in the Federal Republic of Germany. It is committed to promoting and safeguarding Kenya’s national interests through effective diplomacy, fostering strong bilateral relations, and enhancing cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, tourism, culture, and education. The Embassy also provides a wide range of consular services to Kenyan citizens living in Germany, as well as to Germans and other nationals seeking to visit or do business with Kenya.

As a vital bridge between Kenya and Germany, the Embassy works closely with government institutions, development partners, and the private sector to strengthen partnerships that support Kenya’s development agenda and regional integration efforts. The mission is also accredited to the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania, further extending its diplomatic responsibilities in Europe. Through its activities, the Embassy strives to project Kenya’s image abroad as a dynamic, peaceful, and progressive country at the heart of East Africa.

The Embassy also plays an active role in engaging with the Kenyan diaspora, encouraging their participation in national development and providing support in areas such as documentation, legal matters, and emergency assistance.
