Federal President Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier led mourners at the State Funeral Ceremony, of the late former Federal President Prof. Dr. Horst Köhler,  which took place at the Berlin Cathedral  on 18th February 2025.

The event was well attended by many high-level government officials, former presidents, politicians, and foreign dignitaries. Moving tributes were given about the late former President Horst Köhler.
